Buffy GONE in THE VAMPIRE SLAYER #8
Discover the Frightening and Hungry Threat to the Slayer in November 2022
BOOM! Studios today revealed a first look at THE VAMPIRE SLAYER #8, the next issue of the new comic book series from the universe of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. From the creative team of award-winning author Sarah Gailey (Eat The Rich, Magic for Liars), artist Sonia Liao (A Thief Among The Trees), colorists Valentina Pinto and Riccardo Giardina, and letterer Ed Dukeshire, November 2022 brings in a new era for the Chosen One as she faces an impossible choice and a danger so powerful it threatens the lives of everyone and everything she holds dear.
Where has Buffy disappeared to? The Gang is on the case, all the while wrestling with the guilt over how they’ve treated her… though Spike and Faith may both feel differently than they expected. Meanwhile, with Spike hot on Buffy’s trail, a frightening and hungry threat stands in the way.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer premiered on March 10th, 1997. The Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated series ran for seven seasons from 1997-2003. Chosen to battle vampires, demons and other forces of darkness, Buffy is aided by a Watcher who guides and teaches her as she surrounds herself with a circle of friends.
THE VAMPIRE SLAYER #8 features main and variant cover art by acclaimed illustrator Ario Anindito (Magic: The Hidden Planeswalker) and variant cover art by fan favorite artists Nicole Goux (Shadow of the Batgirl), and Stephanie Pepper (RWBY / Justice League).
