Your First Look at Matz and Luc Jacamon’s THE KILLER: AFFAIRS OF THE STATE #2
Discover the Eisner-Nominated Series Before the Netflix Film from Acclaimed Director David Fincher in March 2022
BOOM! Studios today revealed a first look at THE KILLER: AFFAIRS OF THE STATE #2, the next issue in the return of the Eisner Award-nominated series by acclaimed French artist Luc Jacamon and writer Matz (The Black Dahlia), bringing readers into the Killer’s high-stakes world of espionage and contract killing before the upcoming Netflix film directed by David Fincher (The Social Network), written by Andrew Kevin Walker (Se7en), and starring Michael Fassbender (X-Men: First Class).
The gang wars within the city intensify thanks to the suspicious death of a prominent drug runner. Barbara, the Killer and Nicolas’s handler, introduces them to another undercover agent working to infiltrate the gang of a corrupt city hall official. Can they leverage the connection to give the official the “negative treatment” — and take him off the board for good?
THE KILLER: AFFAIRS OF THE STATE #2 features all-new main cover art by series artist and global star illustrator Jacamon, and variant covers by highly acclaimed artists DANI (The Low, Low Woods) and Tamra Bonvillain, and Toni Infante (We Only Find Them When They’re Dead).
