BOOM! Studios, under license by Hasbro, Inc. (NASDAQ: HAS) and in partnership with Wizards of the Coast LLC, revealed today a first look at MAGIC #14, the second issue of a brand new arc of the original comic book series from acclaimed writer Jed MacKay (Moon Knight), artist Ig Guara (Marvel’s Ghost-Spider), colorist Arianna Consonni (Arancia Studio), and letterer Ed Dukeshire (Once & Future), perfect for new readers and long time fans, available in May 2022.
The planeswalkers journey to Locthwain to find the Cauldron of Eternity, and finally uncover the identity of the specter haunting Niko’s steps. Many knights have fallen in their quest for the Cauldron—in order to find it, our heroes must prove their worth by surviving a deadly test. But if they can succeed, they just might discover the identity of the specter… and the dangerous implications of that knowledge!
MAGIC #14 features main cover art by acclaimed artist Miguel Mercado (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers) as well as variant cover art by acclaimed artists Fabiana Mascolo (Firefly: Brand New ‘Verse) and Stephanie Hans (Black Panther).
