What's The Big Idea?

"What's great here is the ‘remixed' plotline of each strip presented in its original form. Most of the newly constructed scenarios are purely nonsensical but irrelevantly humorous.

"One of my favorite strips is ‘Hats Off'; of all the stories I've read so far, this is the most coherently enjoyable.

"Another favorite strip of mine is the ridiculously titled ‘Astro-Alien' Dog, a brief but insanely goofy, Jules Vernes-esque look at an ethical group of hunters who are sent from ‘Earth' (truthfully, England) to hunt down a ‘space dog' that threatens the tribes of darkest ‘space' for years. Remember the horrendous U.S. version of Gatchamen called ‘Battle of the Planets'? That's how I actually feel when I read this particular page.

"Simply put, the What Were They Thinking: Monster Mash-Up Edition is probably one of Boom! Studios's most solid releases to be released this year. As Ron Weasley would have said, it's so ‘bloody wicked' it'll make you laugh so hard you can't even try to figure out what this issue fails to accomplish. The writers have done a great job in preserving these artistic archives while giving them a makeover to reach new heights and most importantly, allow them to see the light of day once again."
